YLANG YLANG
Plant Origin: The Indian Ocean island of Commodores
, Indonesia, Philippines.
Action: Antispasmodic, balances
blood pressure, regulates heartbeat. It is used in hair
preparations to promote thick, shiny, lustrous hair (it
is also reported to help control split ends).
Traditional Uses: Ylang Ylang
means “flower of flowers.” Ylang Ylang flowers have been
used to cover the beds of newlywed couples on their wedding
night.
Indications: Ylang Ylang helps treat skin conditions,
insect bites, heart arrhythmias, cardiac problems, high
blood pressure, anxiety, impotence, arterial hypertension,
depression, mental fatigue, hair loss, labored breathing,
insomnia, palpitations, tachycardia.
Other Uses: Ylang Ylang may help balance male-female
energies so one can move closer towards being in spiritual
attunement and allowing greater focus of thoughts, filtering
out the ever-present negative frequencies. It may help
lower blood pressure, rapid breathing, balance equilibrium,
frustration, balance heart function, impotence, intestinal
problems, shock, and skin problems.
Application: Diffuse or apply topically mixed with
V-6 Mixing Oil or Massage Oil Base. Add to food or water
as a dietary supplement or flavoring.
