Traditional Uses: Ginger is used to combat the
effects of motion sickness and has been studied for its
gentle, simulating effects. Women in the West African
country of Senegal weave belts of ginger root to restore
their mates� sexual potency.
Indications: Arthritis, rheumatism,
indigestion, digestive disorders, and motion sickness.
Other Uses: Ginger may be used for alcoholism,
loss of appetite, arthritis, chills, respiratory infections,
congestion, coughs, digestive disorders, infectious diseases,
muscular aches/pains, nausea, rheumatism, sinusitis, sore
throats, and sprains.
Application: Diffuse and apply topically. May be
added to food or water as a dietary supplement or flavouring.
